This exhibition told the story of the Greek contribution to the modern Olympics movement through olympic memorabilia: photos, documents, pins, medals, posters, tickets, torches, etc. It also included a gallery of Olympics inspired works of art by major greek artists.

Extensive research lead into the digitization and documentation of one thousand of memorabilia. All of them were included in a digital edition (DVD-Rom) and the most important were exhibited in Zappeion Megaron.

The exhibition was planned to coincide with the lighting of the flame ceremony for the London 2012 Olympics.
