RSS Beacon was a fully featured RSS Reader with a social twist. It introduced beacons: tags that connected people to common interests. In this way, it allowed you to automatically tag, save and share articles directly from your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad address book.

RSS Beacon had full integration with Google Reader and Twitter, worked on offline mode, had an advanced RSS search and website scan functionality and many more features. However, it did not survive the battle of the mobile phone RSS Readers and is no longer available.
